Farewell to @Bongomentally

Just watched @SimonCRoberts drive off in my Mazda Bongo. I was only half serious when last week I tweeted the question.. "Anyone want to buy my Mazda Bongo?" ..but now it's gone.

I wasn't using it to it's full potential and I know Simon has done some great photo projects where he lives & works from a camper.

I hope this one serves him well.

All i need now is a small car that does 130 miles to the gallon and a Mad-Maxed Land Rover running recycled veg oil for when society collapses.

Painstaking Collaboration

Two days ago I tweeted "I need a better name for my number 3 blog.. "I'm bored of 'Data dump'..  Nik @Loudmouthman was straight in there with 'Taking Paynes' and Gordon @125f8 turned it around to suggest  'Paynes Take'.

And so 'Payne's Take' was born.

Lee @LondonFilmGeek sent me a funky font called Romeral  ..and @TookieBunten created a couple of different logo designs before coming up with this one below..

I really like it and would like to thank all those involved for their creative input.. especially @TookieBunten who took Lee's idea of emulating the feel of a vintage heist movie and created the final logo.

All this from a simple tweet. Be careful what you ask for as a few friends from around the world just might make it happen.

UPDATE: Lee @LondonFilmGeek has also kindly sent me a track which when played whilst viewing this blog heightens pleasure and overall reading enjoyment.
