Yes i know this is a household radio but the tunes today are just too good to miss. I have an inverter if i need it but the battery pack in the Pure Evoke 1-s Marshall edition is good for at least 10 hours. More than enough time for me to get to Birmingham and back for the Collision Conference.

Seems only right that I should be listening to my morning dose of rock on this.. BBC 6 Music sounds pretty damn good too.

I attended the launch of the Pure Evoke-1S at the Marshall Amplification HQ in Milton Keynes yesterday. A great little event with live music, pasties & booze punctuated with a goody filled bag I was given on the way out. This radio was in it. So far I've programmed the channels and enjoyed the sound quality. It has more bass than other radios and doesn't distort at all. Even when turned right up to 11. And yes it does go up to 11. I'll do a proper test and review after I've had more of a play.

Beer, tunes & tech.. And it's not even 6pm yet.
